Maria Volonte, a member of the Tango Hall of Fame, is renowned for her intense, passionate performances. Her current repertoire of original compositions explores the fusion of tango and Latin American folk music with the blues. Her performances feature Maria on guitar and vocals and Kevin Carrel Footer on harmonica. Songlines magazine called her "the best-kept secret of Argentinian Tango," while Jazz Perspectives described her as combining "the earthiness of Edith Piaf with the sassiness of Eartha Kitt."

An evening of jaw-dropping guitarists from the boundary-expanding label Candyrat Records, featuring Montreal Guitar Grand Prix winner Ewan Dobson, Welsh guitar phenom Gareth Pearson, Canadian fingerstyle champion Craig D'Andrea and American rock and folk singer-songwriter Matthew Santos.

Every year Camp Mabina brings Zimbabwe's finest musicians and dancers to the Synergia ranch for two weeks of intensive African music and dance workshops.
