Chatham County Line
Thursday, April 19th @ 8:00 pm
At Low Spirits Bar & Stage
2823 2nd Street NW, Albuquerque
Chatham County Line merges first-class picking with pithy songwriting—not to mention some banjo, fiddle and mandolin. With their bluesy Americana style, the band evokes images of North Carolina's quiet life in a playful, fun-loving way. Formed in Raleigh in 1999, CCL has the finger-picking dexterity of a traditional bluegrass band and the stories you usually associate with singer-songwriters. PopMatters.com raved that CCL's "subtly evolving brand of bluegrass, country, and folk remains instantly reassuring, while the stellar quality of their original songwriting keeps their work fresh and relevant."
