The music of Jack Williams, rooted in his native South Carolina, was shaped by a 54-year career of playing folk, rock, jazz, R&B, classical and the popular music of the 30s, 40s and 50s. He is counted among the most dynamic performers on today's "folk" circuit. Jack is considered a "musician's musician", an uncommonly unique guitarist, a writer of vivid songs with a strong sense of place, and a storyteller in an old Southern tradition who further illustrates each tale with his guitar. Rich Warren of WFMT Chicago's The Midnight Special said, "His artistry is nothing short of amazing." Vic Heyman, in SING OUT!, wrote, "He is one of the strongest guitar players in contemporary folk."

Eliza Rickman is one of those bright young artists that are perfectly suited for the intimate environment of a house concert. Her debut EP, Gild the Lily, features her stunning vocals and an antique toy piano, an instrument she also features in concert (it's much easier to travel with than a full piano). Eliza's music is a playful mix of traditional folk, gothic weirdness, and crystal-clear vocals, blended together with an impressive musicality.

Over The Rhine's Linford Detweiler and Karin Bergquist, named to Paste magazine's list of 100 Best Living Songwriters, began performing together in 1990 in local Cincinnati clubs and gathering places. Their first show drew about 20 people, most of them friends. But even from these somewhat humble beginnings, audiences immediately believed they had stumbled onto something special. Enveloping their listeners like family, Karin and Linford kept them close to the fold with simple candle-lit stages and playful handwritten newsletters. But above all else, it was the band's songs that drew in more and more eager fans. Karin's voice, full of longing and love, seemed to pierce the soul and became the unmistakable focal point of Over The Rhine's richly spiritual music.

Born on the Canadian Piapot Cree Indian reserve, legendary singer-songwriter Buffy Saint-Marie came to prominence during the mid-60s as part of New York’s Greenwich Village folk scene alongside contemporaries Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell. Artists such as Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin and Taj Mahal turned her early songs into hits, while her own successful recording career has spanned eighteen albums. Buffy also has a PhD in Fine Arts and is a tireless political activist, continuing to represent the rights of indigenous peoples worldwide.
