The Convergence Project is currently organizing the third annual Oasis Festival, which will feature Overcoats and performances from local teen musicians, bands, and singers.
As well as the music, there will be additional performances from Wise Fool and by local dancers. There will also be a chalk art competition co-sponsored by Violet Crown with multiple prizes that include cash and Convergence Project merchandise. In addition, there will be food vendors on site.
By youth, for youth: The Convergence Project is a teen-run organization working to create opportunities and events for youth in the Santa Fe area. The events are designed, produced, promoted, and fundraised by teenage volunteers with the purpose of building community, providing creative spaces, and supporting high school artists, musicians, dancers, writers, and entrepreneurs.

Overcoats is the New York-based female duo of Hana Elion and JJ Mitchell. Their debut album Young captures a sound rich in minimalism and melody: songs of connection and tension, on the depths of love and challenges of family.
Overcoats' music draws strength from vulnerability, finding light through darkness, and the catharsis of simple, honest songwriting. Young is about a transformation: the passage into womanhood, sung through the shared experience of two best friends.
