With a musical career spanning 19 years, Céu has enchanted audiences worldwide with her soulful melodies and eclectic rhythms. With 7 albums and prestigious awards including 1 Grammy nomination and 3 Latin Grammys, her talent knows no bounds. From captivating performances at renowned festivals like Coachella and Rock in Rio to mesmerizing crowds at iconic venues and collaborations with music icons like Herbie Hancock, Céu's music transcends geographical boundaries.
Now, she's back and ready to embark on her latest North American tour to celebrate the release of Novela, her highly anticipated new album (April 2024), produced by acclaimed American producer Adrian Younge (known for his work with Ghostface Killah and The Delfonics), and the Brazilian multi-artist and Latin Grammy-winning producer Pupillo (renowned for collaborations with Gal Costa and Erasmo Carlos), along with Céu. This tour promises an unforgettable experience filled with infectious beats and captivating melodies that have become synonymous with Céu's music.
Joining Céu on stage will be her talented band of Brazilian musicians, including Lucas Martins on bass, Sthé Araujo on percussion, Thomas Harres on drums, and Leo Mendes on guitars. Together, they'll bring to life the tracks from the new album as well as her greatest hits.
A scion of Haitian musical royalty, Paul Beaubrun has spent his life living to the beat. Son of Theodore "Lòlò" and Mimerose "Manzè" Beaubrun of the Grammy-nominated Haitian band Boukman Eksperyans, his earliest memories are of rhythm and sound. Moving to New York as a youth, he was inspired by his heritage to begin crafting a sound all his own. Constantly aware of his roots, the struggle of an immigrant and the drive of New York life, Paul began to create a path where music, activism and history meet.
