This Event Has Ended

AMP is excited to be working with the Museum of International Folk Art in conjunction with the exhibit La Cartonería Mexicana / The Mexican Art of Paper and Paste. Enjoy musical performances in the exhibit on August 4 and September 1, and then join us for music, dance and Mexican wrestling for the Extravaganza on Museum Hill on September 21!

FREE with Museum Admission!  Museum is FREE for New Mexico Residents on the first Sunday of the Month too!

The concert series is generously supported by the Friends of Folk Art (FOFA).

Carol Vigil and Leila Flores-Dueñas have been making music together for more than 20 years at venues that range from the Gene Autry Theatre in Los Angeles, the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, the Museum of National Folk Art in Santa Fe, historical conferences, universities, public school classrooms, and an array of other venues. Whether they are singing for large audiences or private guests, they are sure to deliver smooth harmonies and thoughtful tunes with passion and heartfelt joy. Las Flores del Valle also enjoy researching and performing songs that have formed part of our rich cultural heritage in the US/Mexican Borderlands.
