Emerge from the Pandemic with live music at a beautiful outdoor performance space at Casa Flamenca! The space can hold around 120 people at full capacity. With 3-foot distancing, we are going to sell 80 tickets. This is a great way to get used to going out again with a killer lineup of many of Albuquerque's best artists. Come out and support local music and check out this amazing new community space. Casa Flamenca created this space in the fall while dealing with the devastating impact of the pandemic on their business. A portion of the proceeds from each show will go to help them pay for the cost of building this space (around $10K, so a substantial investment!). If you would like to make additional donations to support them, you'll have an opportunity to do that when you buy your tickets.
Masks required when not eating or drinking.
Tio David's Peruvian Flavor will be on hand selling vegetarian and chicken Causa Rellenas and Chicha Morada (a drink made from purple corn, pineapple, apples, cinnamon, lemon and sugar). More familiar drinks will be available from Casa Flamenca by donation.
PARKING: There is plenty of street parking, but you are also welcome to park at Monica's El Portal across the street. Big thanks to Monica for letting us use their lot after hours!
Revíva has made a name for themselves in the Albuquerque music scene through their inspiring lyrics, unique sound, and positive vibes. Forming in the fall of 2009, they have turned ears with their original Burqueño/Reggae/Rock rhythm and lyrics, both in English and Spanish that touch the soul.
They started performing at small local venues for friends and family, but have quickly staked their claim as one of New Mexico's premier bands. They have played at venues such as Sunshine Theater and Hard Rock Pavilion and are a mainstay at the Launchpad and local pubs. Revíva has opened for the likes of The Wailers, Ozomatli, The Expendables, Fishbone, Tribal Seeds and The Dirty Heads. One of their biggest achievements so far was being voted to play main stage at Edgefest 2012, beating out over 100 bands for the honor, as well as winning a nationwide vote to play at Arise Festival in Colorado. These accomplishments was really a testament to the dedicated fan base Revíva has formed in their time as a band.
Revíva's mission as a band is to revive themselves and others through the healing power of music and to give back and help those in the community. They aim to spread positivity and inspire change in the way people think and act.
